Chicago- Day 2

We started off Saturday morning at the beach. This beach is called Olive park beach. It's just a small beach, closest to Navy Pier (which was our next stop). I'd always envisioned the water of the great lakes to be more murky, but this was gorgeous and clear! It was a little on the colder side...but we did go early in the morning (about 8 am). A local told me the water is much warmer midday.

I asked a local where the best place to get pizza is, she said Giordano's. It was delicious!

The boys all fell asleep and Chad was pretty tired too, so mom & me took the baby and headed out shopping. I didn't get any pics of us shopping, because we were too busy sorting through clothes at our favorite stores (Zara & H&M), but this was a cute little plaza on Michigan Ave. (aka the Magnificent Mile) were we went shopping.
