The view we got to wake up to!
We actually went to another church first (Iglesia de Santa Maria), but they were having Mass when we stumbled in. We stayed for a little while. The sermon (is that what you'd call it??) was nice. He said something about having "yankees come before & how they are welcome". And he talked about the importance of mothers in our society. I thought about my two cute boys back home. We left before they administered the sacrament. We headed for this church below, Iglesia de San Vincente.
Then we went back to the first church (Iglesia de Santa Maria) after Mass was over.
I love all the plazas you find all over Spain.

Pixtos for lunch. These ones were much tastier than the pixtos we'd tried in Bilbao!
And gelato for dessert.
Monte Urgull. This hill/mountain that overlooks the city was a defence point as far back as the 12th century, but I believe much of what is shown here was built/reinforced in the 16th century.
Seeing double? We had way too much fun with the panoramics on our iphones!
Actual canons used in war.
The views up top were beautiful! On the right, you can see our hotel through the trees or on the mountain top in the picture below this next one.
Catedral del Buen Pastor
Playa de la Concha
Churros con chocolate, these waffle/donuty kinda things that I used to have in Vigo all the time, & Bitter Kaas drink.
View from our balcony at night.
